<br /> Ana Junior Chamber of C~mnerce for permission to present the Santa Ann,,al Frolic on
<br /> ~ursday evening, November 29th, 1956, at 7:30 P.M., was granted.

<br /> The Council having ,,nanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Council
<br /> man Hefn~y, seconded by Jerome and carried, the following Resolution entitled:

<br /> "Resolution No. 56-300 accepting Grant Deed"

<br /> fr~n Calvin O. and Helen M. Cook, for an easement for street purposes for the widening of
<br /> the north side of Delhi Road between Flower Street and Park Drive, without cash con-
<br /> sideration, was considered and passed by the following vote:

<br />On motion of Councilman Rein]y, seconded by Markel and carried, the co~-.unication fr~n
<br />United Nations C~zlldren's Fund, of Rom~ Italy, requesting one thousand, more or less,
<br />illustrated postcards showing views of the City of Santa Aua was referred to the C~amber
<br />of Commerce for answer.

<br />It was moved by Councilmau He~nly, seconded by Jerome and carried, that Tilghmau A.
<br />Taylor be appointed as Alternate of the City of Santa Aua on the Board of Directors of
<br />County Sanitation District No. 1.

<br />The M~n~ger read the report of the curb usage c~m,fttee rec.'~!.~ending denial of request of
<br />Mrs. Georgia Bradley, ~09 East W-~ut Stx~et, for a two or three car twenty-minute parkin
<br />zone to be established directly in front of the Nursery School, or have signs erected
<br />which could be placed in the mornings until 12:30 P.M. and then taken down and removed on
<br />week-ends and all vacations. On motion of Counc~Ima~ Heinly, seconded by ~arkel and
<br />carried, the request was refeA-~=d back to the curb usage cc~m,~ttee for further study.

<br />approved for two 35 foot driveways on First Street.
