!40,, <br /> <br />Council Chamber <br />Santa Ana City Hall <br />December 3, 1956. <br /> <br />7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />City Council met in regular session. <br />Meeting called to order by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Present: Councilmen <br /> <br />Absent: Councilmen <br /> <br />Dale H. Heinly, J. Ogden Markel, William Jerome, <br />TilghmanAo T~lor, Milford W. Dahl <br />None <br /> <br />Each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes of <br />November 19, 1956, reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and approved <br />on motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Jerome and carried. <br /> <br /> Hee~ring <br />"S. E. Southern Pacific <br />a~d Delhi A~nex" <br /> Ord~ n~nce <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing protests on annexation to the City of certain unin- <br />habited territory designated "S.E. Southern Pacific and Delhi Annex", and there being no <br />protests, on motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Jerome and carried, the following <br />Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br />"Ordinance declaring the annexation of that certain territory designated <br />'S.E. Southern Pacific and Delhi Annex'" <br /> <br />Hearing <br />Amendment Plan. Com. <br />Ordinance <br /> e <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br />. <br />This being the date set for hearing on the amendment initiated by the Planning Commission <br />for the reclassification of property on the east side of Sycamore Street and the west sid <br />of Cypress Avenue from Walnut Street to Delhi Road, from R-2 and R-3 Districts to P-PK <br /> <br />District and modify the existing C-1 and C-2 Districts in said area, by the addition <br /> <br />thereto of PK$ protests were voiced by L. R. Snyder, 2112 S. Sycamore Street and Mrs. W.T <br /> <br />Daiker, 2028 So Sycamore Street, against the reclassification of the whole area but had <br /> to <br />no objection/the modification. On motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Markel-and <br /> <br />carried, the recommendation of the Commission was approved to modify the existing C-1 and <br /> <br />C-2 Districts in said area by the addition of PK and the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br />Hearing <br />Amendment Lemon Heights <br />Investment Corp. <br /> <br /> "Ordinance amending Article IX of the santa Ana Municipal Code creating <br /> changes in district boundaries, and amending Sheets Nos. 4, 30, 31 and <br /> 42 of the Districting Map to show the reclassification,, <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br />,, <br />This being the date set for hearing on the amendment application of Lemon Heights Invest- <br />ment Corp., for the reclassification of a 2.31 acre parcel of property located on the <br />north side of Sixth Street, beginning at a point approximately 108.04' west of Linwood <br />Avenue, with a frontage of approximately 154.56' on Sixth Street and extending north for <br />approximately 385.50', from the R-1 District to the R-3 District. J. F. Stone, 609 Lin- <br />wood Street, objected to the reclassification of the property to R-3 District because Lots <br />I to 29 on Linwood Avenue north of Sixth Street were restricted to R-I District and the <br /> <br /> <br />
