po <br />3/88 EXHIBIT A NOT ATTACHED W/RESOLUTION AT TIME OF PREPARATION 8-12-75 <br /> FOR MICROFILMING <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 75-110 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING ~N <br />APPLICATION FOR GRANT FOR ORANGE <br />COUNTY NARCOTICS INDEX, CALIFOP~IA <br />COUNCIL ON CRIMINAL JUSTICE AND <br />AUTHORIZING TttE CHIEF OF POLICE OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO EXECUTE ALL <br />DOCU~{ENTS PERTINEi~T THERETO <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, the City of Santa Ana desires to undertake a <br />certain project designated Orange County Narcotic Index to be <br />funded in part from funds made available pursuant to the Crime <br />Control Act of 1973, PL 93-83, administered by the Office of <br />Criminal Justice Planning (hereafter referred to as OCJP) for <br />the California Council on Criminal Justice. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Chief of Police <br />of the City of Santa Ana is authorized to submit the attached <br />Application for Grant for Law Enforcement Purposes to OCJP and is <br />authorized to execute on behalf of the City of Santa Ana the <br />attached Grant Award for law enforcement purposes including any <br />extensions or amendments thereof. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Santa Ana agrees to <br />provide all matching funds required for said project (including any <br />extension or amendment thereof) under the Crime Control Act and <br />the rules and regulations of OCJP and the Law Enforcement Assist- <br />ance Administration (LEAA) and that cash will be appropriated as <br />required thereby. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received hereunder <br />shall not be used to supplant on-going law enforcement expenditures. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 18th day of <br /> August , 1975. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> ~ORrr.
