<br />Each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes of
<br />March 4, 1957, reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and approved on
<br />motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Merkel and carried.

<br />Variance On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Markel and carried, the recommendation
<br />Nelson & Casserly
<br /> ~#/3 of the Planning Commission was approved and the variance of Nelson & Casserly
<br />
<br />granted to permit construction of two one-story buiIdings, containing one two-
<br />
<br />bedroom apartment unit, and nine one-bedroom apartment units, with ten garage
<br />
<br />spaces, at 621 North Baker Street, in R-2 District, subject to the conditions of
<br />

<br />On motion of Counci!~sn Markel, seconded by Jerome and carried, the recommendation
<br />of the Planning Commission was approved and the variance of Russell H. Jessup
<br />granted to permit conversion of existing single-family dwelling at 1506 South Broad
<br />way, into offices for doctors, with no exterior changes in the building, subject to
<br />
<br />the requirement of a minimum of six off-street parking spaces on the southerly pot-

<br />subject to the further conditions of the Commission and the Department of Public

<br />hearing was ordered published setting the date of hearing on April 15, 1957, on

<br />upon property fronting on or adjacent to the east and west sides of North and South
<br />
<br />Main Street, from Tenth Street north and Walnut Street south, to the corporate
<br />

<br />On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Jerome and carried, Map of Tract No.
<br />3070, submitted by Orange County Development Company, for the dedication of Rene
<br />Drive, Rita Way, Dahl Lane, Spruce Street, Pacific Avenue, alley, walkway and por-
<br />
<br />tions of Fairview Avenue and Wilshire Avenue and the dedication of all vehicular
<br />
<br />access rights on Fairview Avenue, and bond in the amount of $78,000.00 were
<br />
<br />license payment fee in the sum of $3,~O0.00 accepted and agreement covering improve-
<br />

<br />were authorized to execute agreement dated March 18, 1957, with Pittsburgh Athletic
<br />Company, for the use of the baseball field and stands at Memorial Park and dressing

<br />were authorized to execute agreement dated March 18, 1957, with the County of
<br />for the rental of Rooms 123, 124, 125, 126, 127 and 129, and certain storage rooms
<br />in the basement of the building, at the Cnm~,Anity Center, at a rental of $314.00
