<br /> Communication from the Department of Public Works was read reporting that 60.55%
<br /> of the area petitioning in Assessment District No. 199 for street improvements on
<br /> Rousselle, Oak, Cedar, Standard, St. Andrew, et al~had signed and on motion of
<br /> CounciLman Markel, seconded by Heinly and carried, the petitions were received and
<br /> filed.

<br />Co~unication was read from Edward B. Riniker, 1319 Bush Street, stating that the
<br />trash and garbage situation on Bush Street adjacent to the Markham parking lot has
<br />been greatly improved, but it does not seem proper that trash and garbage produced
<br />by commercial property fronting on Main Street be disposed of across the street
<br />from residences on Bush Street, especially when the property on the west side of
<br />Bush Street is zoned for parking purposes. On motion of Councilman Markel,
<br />seconded by Jet,ne and carried, the communication was received and filed.

<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of
<br />Councilman Heinly, seconded by Markel and carried, the following Resolution~ entitle.

<br /> "Resolution No. 57-55 concerning 'Two Hour', parking on
<br /> North Flower Street"
<br />
<br />between Seventeenth Street and Nineteenth Street, reference request of Eddie
<br />Costello, was considered and passed by the following vote:
