RESOLUTION NO. 75-136 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAIffA ANA <br />AMENDING SECTION 3 OF RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 INCREASING THE <br />SALARY SCHEDULE ALLOCATIONS FOR CERTAIN MANAGEMENT CLASSIFICATIONS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution <br />No. 58-281 revising and establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for employees of the <br />City of Santa Aha; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has fr~m time to time amended this Resolution; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with stipulations of two-year Memoranda of Understanding <br />between the City of Santa Aha and the several Associations of City Employees, the <br />City Council on July 1~ 1974 passed and adopted Resolution 74-103 incorporating the <br />provisions of these Memoranda which provided second year (1975-76) increases for all <br />employees, except executive management personnel, effective July 1, 1975 for General <br />employees and October 1, 1975 and April 1, 1976 for sworn Police and Fire employees; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ it is now desired to adjust the salary range allocations of certain <br />management classifications listed in Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281 is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> SECTION 3: Allocation of Classes of Emplo.yment to Salary and Wase Schedules. <br />The following classes of employment shall be allocated to salary and wage ranges on <br />the effective dates as set forth below: <br /> <br />SALARY RANGE NUMBER <br /> <br />CLASS TITLE 9-1-75 1-1-76 <br /> <br />Assistant City Manager 514 <br />Assist. to City Manager-Community Relations 466 <br />Director of Building Safety and Housing 471 <br />Director of Finance 487 <br />Director of Personnel 476 <br />Director of Planning 485 <br />Director of Public Works 537 <br />Equipment Maintenance Superintendent 406 <br />Executive Director-Redevelopment Agency 497 <br />Fire Chief 497 <br />Library Director 466 <br />Museum Director 416 <br />Park Superintendent 436 <br />Police Chief 511 <br />Recreation Superintendent 436 <br /> <br />518 <br />470 <br />475 <br />491 <br />48O <br />489 <br /> <br />410 <br /> <br />5O3 <br />470 <br />425 <br /> <br />515 <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this Resolution shall take effect as of the 1st <br />day of September, 1975. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular <br />meeting held on the 15th day of September , 1975. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUIqTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, FLORENCE I.
