<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of

<br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Markel and carried, the following Resolution entitled:

<br />
<br />enlarging the present loading zone for the bus, on the south side of Fairview Avenuei
<br />between Main Street and Broadway, at the Lathrop School, was considered and passed
<br />
<br />by the following vote:

<br />On recommendation of the curb usage committee and on motion of Counci!~u Hubbard,
<br />
<br />seconded by Markel and carried, the request of Carl's Market, Chet's Meat Market and
<br />Futlerton Mortgage and Escrow Company, was denied for the establishment of a twenty-
<br />
<br />minute zone in the first block north of 17th Street on Ross Street.
<br />
<br />The Manager read the reports of the Traffic Engineer on the results of the parking
<br />survey on South Main Street recommending no extension of the present one-hour time
<br />
<br />limit., and on North Main Street between llth Street and Buffalo Avenue, reccm-
<br />
<br />mending no extension of limited time parking at this time.
<br />
<br />On recommendation of the Manager and on motion of Councilman Hubbard,
<br />
<br />seconded by ,!
<br />
<br />Markel and carried, the request of Paul E. Davis was granted for an over-size drive-'i
<br />
<br />way at 1405 East First Street.
<br />
<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, the following

<br />Ordinance entitled:
<br />
<br />"Ordinance amending Section 3280 of the Santa Ana Municipal
<br />code, establishing a special speed zone on Fairview Avenue"
<br />
<br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading.
<br />
<br />The Manager read the report of the Traffic Engineer on the results of the traffic
<br />investigation of St. Andrew Place and Van Ness, recommending no further action.
<br />
<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of
<br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, the following Resolution entitled:

<br />"Resolution No. 57-125 concerning parking limitations and curb
<br />markings in accordance therewith"
<br />
<br />establishing a green zone on the west side of Porter Street, between Fourth and i~
<br />Fifth Streets, reference request of W. W. Woods, was considered and passed by the .~
