<br />Department be instructed to assist in that purpose. It was moved by Counc~lm,=
<br />Hubbard, that the City establish, as a matter of policy, as being in favor of zoning
<br />as M-l, the 160 acres at the southwest corner of Bristol Street and Delhi Road,
<br />except the northerly, approximately 30 acres, which borders on Delhi Road, over the
<br />Ditch. It was moved by Councilman Hall, seconded by Gould and carried, that the
<br />Council adopt a policy to investigate the possibility of encouraging industry to
<br />come to Santa Aha, particularly on the 160 acres and report to be made by the
<br />Manager.

<br />On motion of Councilman Hall, seconded by Hubbard and carried, a notice was ordered
<br />published setting the date of public hearing on June 3, 1957, to add a_/Section to
<br />the Municipal Code, designated "Section 9114.3 - Time Limitations" on variances.
<br />
<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of
<br />
<br />Councilm-n Markel, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following Resolution
<br />
<br />entitled:
<br />
<br />"Resolution No. 57-120 concerning parking limitations and curb
<br />markings in accordance therewith"
<br />
<br />establishing vision zones on both sides of Flower Street between Occidental and
<br />
<br />Glenwood, and on both sides of St. Andrew Place between Woodland Place and Olive
<br />
<br />Streets, was considered and passed by the following vote:
