No. 57-146 <br /> <br /> This being the date set for hearing protests on annexation to the City of certain <br /> uninhabited territory designated "Segerstrom Annex NO. 3", and there being no pro- <br /> tests, on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, the follo~-lng <br /> Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance declaring the annexation of that certain territory <br /> designated 'Segerstrc~ Annex No. 3'" <br /> <br /> was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /> <br /> This being the date set for hearing protests to amend Section 9114.3 of the Zoning <br /> Ordinance to provide for time limitations on Variances, and there being no protests, <br /> on motion of Councilman Hall, seconded.by Gould and carried~ the following Ordinance <br /> entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance adding a new Section to the Santa Aha Municipal <br /> Code to place a time limitation on the effectiveness of any <br /> Variance during which the use permitted must be started" <br /> <br /> was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing and no protests having been received, the amend- <br />ment initiated by the Planning Commission was considered for the reclassification, <br />from R-3 District to P-PK and C-1-PK Districts, properties situated within the area <br />bounded by Main Street on the east, Broadway on the west, 20th Street on the south, <br />and Eanta Clara Avenue on the north; and also~ to reclassify to C-1-PK District~ the <br />existing C-2 District and the easterly lO0-foot portion of R-1 District found within <br />the area bounded by Main Street, Broadway, Santa Clara Avenue, and the Santa Aha <br />Freeway, with the exception that the parcel of land situated at the northwest corner <br />of Main Street and Santa Clara Avenue, remain C-2 District as presently zoned. On <br />motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by N~ll and carried, the following Ordinance <br />entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code <br /> creating changes in district boundaries, and amending Sheets <br /> No. 13 and 14 of the Districting Map to show the reclassification" <br /> <br />was introduced~ considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing and no protests having been received, the amend- <br />ment initiated by the Planning Co~mission was considered for the reclassification <br />from R-2 to R-3 District, property o~ued by the City of Santa Aha amd leased to the <br />Izaak Walton League of America, ~nc., upon which they propose to erect a Clubhouse, <br />said property consisting of approximately 3.40 acres, situated near the Santa Ana <br />River and immediately West of the termination of Santa Clara Avenue. On motion of <br />Councilman Gould, seconded by Markel and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Aha Municipal Code <br /> creating changes in district boundaries, and amending Sheets <br /> No. 21 and 25 of the Districting Map to show the reclassification" <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second re~ding. <br /> <br />Councilman Markel disqualified himself on his amendment application to reclassify <br />property on the east side of South Sycamore Street, between Edinger Street and Borchard <br /> <br />Avenue, from R-3 to C-2 District. This being the date set for hearing on the amend- <br /> and no protests having been received, <br />ment application of J. Ogden Markel_~ communication was read frc~ the Planning Commis- <br /> <br />sion recommending approval of a P-PK District classification for subject property. <br />Mr. J. Ogden Markel explained the amendment application and requested that the three <br />lots, 1427, 1431 and 14~5 South Sycsmore Street, be rezoned from R-3 District to C-2 <br />District and stated off-street parking would be provided. The Council having <br />unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Councilman Hubbard, <br />seconded by Hall and carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> <br />
