The proposed use would not a compatible w~th the existing established residential and light commercial neighborhood. There already is an over concentration of social welfare facilities in the City that deals with problems on a County basis rather than a restricted basis of the City only. DETAILS OF PROPOSAL: 1. Description of Proposal: The applicant is presently renovating a medical building that was built in 1955 to convert it to a six unit apartment building. Property is zoned for apartments. The applicant is proposing to utilize the soon to be apartment building for a half-way house for offenders. The building will be converted as follows: 2 one bedroom units - 576 sq.ft. 2 two bedroom units - 770 sq.ft. 2 three bedroom units - 1276 sq.ft. There is 22% open space and 4 private patios. Total building area - 6448 sq.ft. Open Space in front of building 2728 sq.ft. £~ndscaping area in rear 1260. sq.ft. Private patios four 6 x 12 patio areas. Off street parking - 9 carports and 3 open space The applicant proposes to utilize the building as follows: (see attached letter received 2/20/76) It should be noted that there is not a similar facility in the entire County. 2.
