Goodart offering to purchase the house at <br />636 North Van Ness Avenue for $100.00, and on motion of Councilman Gould, seconded <br />by Hall and carried, the offer was received and the Purchasing Agent authorized to <br />advertise for bids for sale of the house; bids to be opened August 19, 1957. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the request of <br />Perry W. Winchell, owner of M. & W. Bus Lines, Inc., for permission to move the <br />passenger terminal from llT-119 East Third Street to 202-204 East Fourth Street, <br />was granted. <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br />CouncilmAn Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the following Resolution entitle, <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 57,202 concerning parking limitations and curb <br /> markings in accordance therewith" <br /> <br />resCinding the red zone on the north side of East Third Street between Main and <br />Bush Streets and establishing a red zone on the south side of Fourth Street between <br />Bush and Spurgeon Streets, for the M. & W. Heinly <br /> None <br /> None <br /> <br /> CounciLman Gould was excused from the meeting at 10:04 P.M. <br /> <br />On motion of CouncilmAn Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, Tentative Map of <br />Tract No. 3293 filed by Action Engineering Company, on property consisting of <br />apprex~m~tely 10.34 acres, or 57 lots, located north of McFadden on the east and <br />west sides of Standard Avenue, was approved subject to conditions of the Bepartmen% <br />of Public Works. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilm~n Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, Map of Tract No. 324 <br />filed by Orange County Development Company, for the dedicatiom of Pacific Avenue, <br />Poplar Street, Hesperian Street and a portion of Wilshire Avenue, and bond in the <br />amount of $23,000.00 were approved, license payment fee in the sum of $1200.00 <br />accepted and agreement covering improvements was ordered signed. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Markel and carried, proper officials <br />were authorized to execute ngreementsfor Mutual Aid Fire Protection with the Cttie <br />of Lags,ha Beach, Orange, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Garden Grove <br />~nahe~m,. ~]lerton and the County of Orange. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Markel and carried, proper officials <br />were authorized to execute agreement with the State of California, Department of <br />Public Works, Division of Highways, for participation of cost for installation of <br />channelization at the intersections of Riverside Drive with State Highway Route <br />VII-0ra-179-SA (North Park Boulevard-Flower Street) and Broadway with State Highwal <br />Route VII-0ra-179-SA (North Park Boulevard-Santa Clara Avenue). <br /> <br />On motion of Councflman Hubbard, seconded by Markel and carried, the following <br />Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance of the City of Santa Ana, California, providing for <br /> the issuance of Library Bonds of said City in the amount of <br /> $700,000" <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hall, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following <br />Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance changing the prima facie spe~d limit on a portion of <br /> Grand Avenue and on a portion of Fifth Street" <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /> <br /> <br />
