Heinly <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />Department Head or City Manager'.'. <br /> <br />Roll Call Ayes, Councilmen <br /> <br /> Noes, Co,~ucilmen <br /> Absent, Councilmen <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried <br />Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance repealing Chapter 2 of Article II of the Sant <br /> Code, and adopting by reference Civil Service Rules and <br /> carry out the intent and pUrpose of the Civil Service <br /> Charter of the City of Santa Ana" <br /> <br />setting the date of hearing on September 3, 1~57, and the ad~ <br />was intrbduced, considered and placed on file for second read <br />Mayor Heinly was excused from the meeting at 8:21 P.M. <br />Councilman Markel assumed the Chair. <br /> <br />This being the date set for the continued hearing on smending <br />Santa Ana Municipal Code to add "General Agricultural Distric' <br />visions of the City; no protests were received, and the Atto~ <br />lng, an explanation of the Orange County Land Use Ordinance <br />General Agricultural District. On motion of Councilman Hubh <br />and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Aha M%micip~ <br /> add 'General Agricultural District" to the Zoning provi: <br /> the City" <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second read <br />This being the date set for hearing to revoke the Special Lic~ <br />Wellbrook to preach on the east side of Ross Street between ~ <br />Streets; J.J.Prather, 214 North Ross Street pretested against <br />loud speaker in a religious broadcast from his truck parked o] <br />Ross Street at Birch Park for the reason that he works at nig] <br />disturbs his rest; also, the loudspeaker is a great disturban, <br /> <br />of the apartment building and requested that the license be c, <br />hour <br />David Wellbrook stated he broadcasts for about one-half_/at no~ <br /> <br />time broadcast is undesirable, requested permission to preach <br />and 6:00 P.M. for approximately another month. Joe Montano, <br />Street spoke in favor of the religious broadcast and Reverend <br />permission should be granted to preach at some other time. <br /> <br />closed.
