Diane Tasch <br /> <br />Ce <br /> <br />;ire Department : <br /> <br />l) Provisions of the following codes shall apply: <br /> Uniform Fire Coda. ~g71 <br /> National Fire Protection Assn. Standards l0 and 96 <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Floor plans incorporating the above codes shall be submitted <br />to the Fire Department showing locations of portable fire ex- <br />'ttnguishers with 2A rated all-purpose extinguishers on each <br />floor and automatic dry chemical fire extinguishers in the <br />hoods and ducting over cooking areas. <br /> <br /> Police Department <br /> <br /> 1). A silent alarm system for burglary be installed. <br /> <br />2) All exterior doors be solid core in design. <br /> <br />3) Doors which have glass within 40 inches of the locking device <br /> <br /> · shall be equipped with a double cylinder deadbolt lock with a <br /> minimum one inch throw. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />All exterior doors with glass 40 inches or more from the locking <br />device may be equipped with a single or double cylinder deadbolt <br />lock with a minimum one inch throw. <br /> <br />s) <br /> <br />Doors with exterior exposed hinge devices shall be equipped with <br />devices to prevent the door from being removed by by-passing <br />these hinges, subject to the approval of the Police Department. <br /> <br />6) All windows shall be secured with an auxiliary locking device and <br /> must meet with the approval of the Police Departm, ent. <br /> <br />.7) <br /> <br />8) <br /> <br />Exterior doors have lighting devices sufficient to illuminate the <br />door and doorway and that such lighting be equipped with 60 watt <br />incandescent light bulb. ~ <br /> <br />The building be clearly 'identifted by street number address. <br />These identifying numbers shall be 4-inch numbers mounted against <br />a contrasting color and shall be visible from traveled access areas. <br /> <br />COMPLIANCE WITH C.E.Q.A.
