Council Chamber Santa Aha City ~1 September 3, 1957. 7:BO P.M. City Council met in regular session. Meeting c~11ed to order by the Mayor. Pr~ ssnt: Counc ~l men Absent: Counc~ 1 men Royal E. Hubbard, Stanley C. Gould, Jr., A.A.Wall, J. Ogden Markel, D~le N. Heinly None The Pledge of Allegiance was given. Invocation was given by Reverend Garland Lacey of the Wilshire Presbyteriau Church. Each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes of August 19, 1957, reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and approved on motion of Counc~lm~u Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried. Hearing This being the date set for hearing and no protests having been received, the Amendment J. Wayne Harrison Ordinance sm~-odm~nt application of J. Wayne Harrison was considered for the reclassification frc~ R-1 District to C-2 District of property situated on the west side of Cypress Avenue between Central Avenue and the Pacific Electric Railroad. On motion of Counc~lm~n Hall, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: "Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Aha Municipal Code creating changes in district boundaries, and amending Sheet No. 43 of the Districting Map to show the reclassification" Hearing Amendment No. 227 Initiated by Planning Commission - Ordinance was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. This being the date set for hearing and no protests having been received, the amend- merit application initiated by the Planning Co~t ssion was considered, proposing that propertY k~own as the Croddyland No. 2 (excluding that portion east of the new Fair- view Road) and the Segerstrom No. 3 annexations be reclassified from the R-1 Distric to the M-1 District. Said property is situated east of Harbor Boulevard, north of Huntzinger Avenue, south of Harvard and appro×~tely lll5 feet west of the Old Newport Road and consists of a total of approximately 297.6 acres. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the following Ordinance entitled "Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Aha Municipal Code creating changes in district boundaries, amending Sheets No. 5~, 61, 62 and 65, and adding Sheets No. 66 and 68 of the Districting Map to show the reclassification" was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading.
