RESOLUTION NO. 76-120 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING SECTION 3 OF RESOLUTION NUMBER 58-281, AS AMENDED, <br />ADDING THE NEW CLASS OF MANPOWER ASSISTANT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution <br />No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for all officers <br />and employees of the City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Ana <br />requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classification <br />and pay plan subject to civil service rules and regulations and the approval of the <br />City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEI{EAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said classification <br />and pay plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to add a new class not currently included in the <br />City's Classification and Pay Plan and to assign an appropriate salary range to said <br />new class; and <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, <br />is hereby further amended by adding to Section 3 thereof, in proper alphabetical <br />sequence, the following class title at the salary range number indicated: <br /> <br /> CLASS TITLE SALARY RANGE NUF~ER <br /> Manpower Assistant 299 <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this amendment shall take effect on September <br />1, 1976. <br /> <br />ADOPTED, this 4th day of October , 1976, by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: COUNCILB{EN: Ward, Garthe, 0rtiz, <br />NOES: COUNCILMEN: Bricken, Evans <br />ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />Yamamoto, Brandt <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br /> <br />
