RESOLUTION NO. 76-129 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING SECTION 3 OF RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO ADD THE CLASS TITLE OF ASSISTANT CITY ENGINEER WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for employees of the City of Santa Ana; and WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended this Resolution; and WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Aha requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classification and pay plan subject to civil service rules and regulations and the approval of the City Council; and WHEREAS, the annual budget for the current fiscal year provides for the reclassi- fication of a Senior Civil Engineer position to a proposed new class of Assistant City Engineer in accordance with plan for the reorganization of the management structure of the Public Works Department; and WHEREAS, this action will not increase the number of positions assigned to that department; and WHEREAS, it is now desired to add a new class to the list of class titles contained in said Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, and to allocate salary and wage schedules thereto; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding, in proper alphabetical sequence, the class title of Assistant City Engineer at Salary Range No. 469. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this amendment shall take effect on November 1, 1976.
