REL:nr <br />10-2~-76 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 76- 137 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING THE PROCEDURE FOR <br />PREPARATION AND APPROVAL OF CONFLICT OF <br />INTEREST CODES FOR THE SEVERAL OFFICES, DE- <br />PARTMENTS, BOARDS, AND COMMISSIONS OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the People of the State of California, by <br />initiative measure, have enacted into law the Political Reform <br />Act of 1974, which Act, in Chapter 7, Article 3 thereof, imposes <br />upon each office, department, board, and commission of this City <br />the obligation to prepare a Conflict of Interest Code, and upon <br />this Council the duty to review and approve such Codes, in accor- <br />dance with the requirements and limitations of the said Act; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that each of the follow- <br />ing offices and departments shall be deemed a separate and dis- <br />tinct "agency" within the meaning of the Political Reform Act <br />of 1974, Chapter 7, Article 3 and shall prepare a Conflict of <br />Interest Code in accordance with the requirements and limitations <br />of the said Act, and the chief administrative officer of each <br />such office and department shall be responsible for such prepara- <br />tion: <br /> <br /> 1. The Office of the City Manager, which, for purposes <br />of this Resolution, shall be deemed to include the Public Informa- <br />tion Office, the Office of Budget and Management Analysis, the <br />Disaster Services Office, the Office of Community Development, <br />the Manpower Services Office, the Public Housing Services Office, <br />and the Office of the Executive Director of the Community Rede- <br />velopment Agency; <br /> <br /> 2.
