REL :nr <br />2-24-77 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-30 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA APPROVING THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST <br />CODES OF THE SEVERAL OFFICES, DEPARTMENTS, BOARDS, <br />AND COMMISSIONS OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council by Resolution 76-137, as amended <br />by Resolution 77-8, did designate the several offices, departments, <br />boards and commissions of the City of Santa Aha which constitute <br />"agencies" within the meaning of the Political Reform Act of 1974, <br />Chapter 7, Article 3, and direct the submission of Conflict of <br />Interest Codes prepared by each such agency for review by this <br />Council as the Code Reviewing Body, within the meaning of the <br />said Act; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, each such agency has submitted a Conflict of <br />Interest Code as directed, and each such Code is now on file with <br />the Clerk of the Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has, on February 22, 1977, held a <br />public hearing, duly noticed in the manner required by law, for <br />the purpose of allowing all offieers, employees, members, and con- <br />sultants of said agencies and all residents of the jurisdiction <br />of the City of Santa Ana a fair opportunity to present their views; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br />the City of Santa Ana, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Effective April 1, 1977, each of the said Conflict <br />of Interest Codes, as prepared and submitted and now on file in <br />the Offioe of the Clerk of the Council is approved and adopted, <br />without revision. <br /> <br /> 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify each Code <br />as approved by this Council to be effective April 1, 1977, shall <br />retain the original of each Code on file in her office, and shall <br />forward a true and correct copy of each Code, to the respective <br />heads of each agency, or, in the case of a board or commission, <br />to the respective administrative officers designated in Resolution <br />76-137. <br /> <br /> 3. The City Attorney shall prepare forms and instruction <br />materials appropriate for the disclosure of financial interests <br />pursuant to the said Codes and distribute the same to the agencies <br />as necessary. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED, this 7th day of March , 1977, <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br /> AYES: COUNCILMEN: Bricken, Ortiz, Yamamoto, <br /> <br />NOES: COUNCILMEN: None <br /> <br />ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Garter, Brandt, Ward <br /> - VI CE MA~ZOR <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />'KEITH L.
