Marley <br /> <br />Variance <br />Ruby Jewell Fouts <br /> <br />Variance <br />Kelso & Sloan <br /> ~f~ <br /> <br />On motion of C°u~i~ Gould, seconded bF Hubbard and carried, the recommendation <br />of the Planning Oommtssion was approved and the variance of Frank E. and Myrtle K. <br />Uawley granted to permit location of a two-story, four-unit apartment building on <br />property situated at 1519 North Ross Street, in an R-2 District, subject to the <br />conditions of the C~ission and Department of Public Works. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman HuObard, seconded by Marksl, that the recomm-~dation of <br />the Planning Commission be approved and the variance of Ruby Jewell Fours granted <br />for one year to permit the use of property situated at 510 Oypress Avenue, in an <br />R-2 District, to board and room six elderly men, subject to the condition of the <br />Department of Public Works and the further condition that applicant be allowed to <br />make application for renewal directly to the Council prior to expiration of that <br />time, The applicant stated that the broken sidewalk had been replaced. On motion <br />of Councilman Gould, seconded by Hall and carried, the motion was amended to read <br />two years instead of one year. Motion carried. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by ~a~kel and carried, the recommendatioz <br />of the Planning Commission was approved and the variance of Kelso & Sloan granted tc <br /> <br />move the 10' x 20' sign advertising "Hidden Village~ at Fairview and Bristol Street <br /> <br />to Lot 24, Tract No. 3244, on the south side of ~ilshire Avenue, the other sign, <br /> <br />8' x 12' to remain in its present location on the west side of Bristol Street~ <br /> <br />approximately 395 feet north of the center line of Wilshire Avenue, subject to the <br /> <br />condition that two $100.00 bonds be furnished to guarantee removal of the signs at <br /> <br />the expiration of one year. <br />. <br />Councilm-u Hubbard disqualified D~m*elf on the next motion. <br />It was moved by Councilman Gould, seconded by Hall and carried, that escrow <br /> <br />instructions be approved and signed for various properties and from the following <br /> <br />persons~ <br /> <br />Reso.
