Heinly <br />None <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Reverend .~Dis Savage of The Orange Avenue Christian Church. <br /> <br />Each member of'the City Council having received copies of the Minutes of <br />November 18, 1957, reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and approved <br />on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried. <br /> <br />Bid acceptance <br />Revolving aerial <br />ladder <br /> <br />A tabulation of bids was presented by the Manager for the furnishing of one <br />revolving aerial ladder complete with hand rails, front end carrying bracket and <br />equipped with high voltage truss rod insulators, Specification No. 652-5, as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />Los Angeles Ladder Company: Net cost to City $1950.00. <br />Delivery l5 days after receipt of order. <br /> <br />Terms 1% - 30 days. <br /> <br />Jumbo Equipment Company of California: <br />If installation required, add $100.00. <br />~eceipt of order. 10~ bond. <br /> <br />American Equitm~ent and BodY Company: <br />receipt of order. 10~ bond. <br /> <br />Net cost to City $2310.56, not installed. <br />Delivery approximately hO days after <br /> <br />Total $2932.80. Motors 1827.98 2049.52 16676.48 <br />Eltiste Company 2031.17 <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Markel and carried, the bid of <br /> <br />Guaranty Chevrolet Motors was accepted on Item 1 for the furnishing of one one-hal <br /> <br />ton pick-up truck. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Markel, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the bid of George <br /> <br />Dunton Ford was accepted on Item 2 for the furnishing of one four-door sedan. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, the bid of Guaranty <br /> <br />Chevrolet Motors was accepted on Item 3 for the furnishing of eight four door <br /> <br />Bid acceptance <br />One traffic line <br />marking machine <br /> <br />sedans · <br /> <br />A tabulation of bids was presented by the Manager for the furnishing of one traffic <br /> <br />line marking machine, Specification No. 652-6, as follows: <br /> <br />Smith Booth Usher Company: Total cost $3,902.08. <br />Orange County Equipment Company: Total cost $3,944.20. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Manager and on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by <br /> <br />Markel and carried, the bid of Smith Booth Usher Company, in the sum of $3,902.08 <br /> <br />was accepted and the other bid rejected. <br /> <br /> <br />
