Heinly <br />None <br /> <br />The Pledge of ~hllegiance was given. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Mr. Ralph Worsham, RePOrter of the. RegiSter <br />Publishing Company. <br /> <br />Each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes <br />of December 2, 1957, reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and <br />approved on motion of Counc~lm, n Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried. <br /> <br />Continued hearing This being the date set for the continued hearing of protests on annexation to the <br />"Fairview and Raitt <br />S. W. Annex" <br />Ordinance <br /> <br />City of certain uninhabited territory designated "Fairview and Raitt S. W. ~zmex", <br />and there being no protests, on motion of Counc~m~n Hubbard, seconded by Markel <br /> <br />and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br />"Ordinance declaring the annexation of that certain territory <br />designated 'Fairview and Raitt S. W. Annex'" <br /> <br />Hearing <br />Vacation certain <br />~mnamed alleys and <br />portions of Measor <br />St. and Central Ave. <br />Reso. Heinly <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing and no protests ~aving been received, the amend- <br /> was considered <br />merit initiated by the Planning Cc~mnission_/for the reclassification of property <br /> <br />recently annexed and known as the "Sullivan and Willits W. of Annex", consisting of <br /> <br />approximately twelve acres, situated on the west side of Sullivan Street, beginning <br /> <br />at a point approximately 1800 feet south of the southwest corner of First and <br /> <br />N~I ivan Streets, thence extending south on Sullivan Street 413.16 feet, and west <br /> <br />of Sullivan Street, for a depth of 1263.90 feet, from the R-1 District to the R-3 <br /> <br />District. On motion of Counc~]msn Markel, seconded by Hall and carried, the fol- <br /> <br />lowing Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br />"Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code <br /> creating changes in district boundaries, and amending Sheet <br /> No. 71 of the Districting Map to show the reclassification" <br /> <br />Preliminary Map <br />Otto Trapp <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman N~I ~, seconded by Markel and carried, the Preliminary Map <br /> <br />submitted by Otto Trapp on property located on the west side of Lyon Street, begin- <br /> <br />ning at a point approx~m~te!y 260 feet north of the northwest corner of the inter- <br /> <br />section of Chestnut and Lyon Streets, with a frontage of approximately 212 feet on <br /> <br />Lyon Street, extending west for a depth of approximately 240.17 feet on the south <br /> <br /> <br />
