<br /> stated that for over a period of two ~ars he has been consulting with the Attorney
<br /> reference the adoption of an Ordinance regulating ambulance service in the City
<br /> stmtlar~ to the OrdinaUce in effect in Pomona. On motion of Councllm~u ~ould,
<br /> seconded by M~kel and carried, the matter was ordered placed on the January 6,
<br /> Agenda for further consideration and referred to a commlttee during the interim.

<br /> On motion of Counc~]m~u Hubbard, seconded Sy Markel aud carried, the recc~mendation
<br /> of the Planning Commlssion was approved ~d the variance of G.H.Robertshaw and $.R.
<br /> Witham granted to permit the establisbm~nt and operation of a Taco-Tic Spanish food
<br /> business in'existing building, with drive-in, on property at ~15 North Grand Avenue
<br /> and to erect a neon sign, each wing of sign to be approximately b' x 9', on a 22'
<br /> staff, subject to conditions of th$ Department of Public Works.

<br /> On motion of Counc~me~ N~l l, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the recommendation
<br /> of the p]annfng C~m~ission was approved and the variance of Louis B. and Lois
<br />
<br /> Twym~ an granted to permit the decrease of rear-yard requirements from 20' to 12', on
<br /> property at 1002 East Buff al6 Avenue, in order to construct a 22' x 20' addition
<br /> (bed_room and bath) onto rear part of existing single-family dwelling.

<br /> On rec~mmenclation of the Planniz~ Ccmxaission and on motion of Counci~m~p Hubbard,
<br /> seconded by Market and carried, the request of S~nny Homes, Inc., for an extension
<br /> of time on a temporary directiona~ sign (10' x 20'), located on property at the
<br /> southeast corner of M~rtle ~nd Bristol Street, was granted for a six months period.
<br /> Counctlm~ Hubbard disqualified himself on the next motion. It was moved by

<br />for street purposes and for construction and maintenauce of an underground storm
<br />drain, was considered and passed by the following vote:
