<br />Beem,.Mr. Johnson, Manager Santora Company, W.H.Siemsen and Pauline Hanson all
<br />
<br />spoke. They stated that the parking ban included too ms~y hours, worked a hardshi
<br />
<br />for loading and ,,nl oading passengers on side streets, caused loss of business,
<br />
<br />reQUested synchz~zation of traffic signals and widem!ng of the street within this
<br />
<br />area rather than farther north. Mr. Brislin requested the Council to reconsider
<br />
<br />the hours established for the parking ban and establish them from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M.
<br />
<br />or from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. The Mayor answered the questions and attempts were made
<br />
<br />by Councilmen Gould and Ha~l to amend the regulatory ~esolutiou. The Council havin
<br />
<br />unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Counc~m~n'Gould,
<br />
<br />seconded by Hall and carried, the following Resolution entitled:

<br />After further discussion, it was moved by Counc]lm~u Hall and seconded by Gould,
<br />
<br />that the Resolution be amended to provide no parking or stopping between 10 A.M. an
<br />
<br />6 P.M., Sundays and Holidays excepted, and no parking between 6 P.M. and 9 P.M.,
<br />
<br />Sund~s and Holidays excepted, but permit stopping for the unloading and loading of
<br />
<br />passengers, not to exceed three minutes.

<br />Communication was submitted from Clara E. Blackwell, owner of property at 13502
<br />Delhi Road, which is a portion of Lot l0 of the Williams Tract, containing about 24
<br />acres, requesting the City to make a gift of certain City properties and authoriziz
<br />the execution of a quit-claim deed and the opening of an escrow, also cc~municatioz
<br />
<br />from Nathan Hubaloff, prospective buyer of the 24 acres, advising Mrs. Black~ell
<br />
<br />must clear the easement before the escrow canbe closed. The Council having
<br />
<br />unanfmouslywaived the read!ng of the Resolution, on motion of Councilman Hubbard,
<br />
<br />seconded by Markel and carried, the following Resolution entitled:
