The Redeveloper <br />agrees for itsel'f', and its successors and ass~ns,'* and <br />every successor in interest to the Property, or any <br />part thereof,' and the Deeds shall contain covenants on <br />the part of the Redevgloper for itself, and such suces- <br />sors and ~ssigns, that the Redeveloper, and such suces- <br />sors and assigns, shall: · ~ <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Devote the Property to, and only to and <br />in accordance with the uses. specified <br />in the Urban Renewal Plan, the Deeds and <br />the Scope of Development and Section 8(n) <br />of this Agreement as it pertains to such <br />portion of the Property on which Phase I <br />improvements shall.be developed. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />Not discriminate upon the basis of race, <br />color, creed, religion, sex, marital status, <br />or national origin in the sale, lease, or <br />rental or in the use or occupancy of the <br />Property or any improvements erected or to be <br />erected thereon, or any part thereof. <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />Include the legend, "An Open Occupancy <br />Building" in type or le'ttering of easily <br />legible size and design in all advertis- <br />ing (including signs) for the sale and/or <br />rental of 'the whole or any part of the <br />Property. The word "Project" or "Deve- <br />lopment'' may be substituted for the word <br />"Building" where circumstances require <br />substitution. <br /> <br />(d) <br /> <br />Comply with the regulations issued by <br />the Secretary of Housing and Urban De- <br />velopment set forth in 37 F.R; 22732-3 <br />and all applicable rules and orders <br />issued thereunder which prohibit the <br />use of lead-Dased paint in residential <br />structures undergoing federally assisted <br />construction or rehabilitation and <br />require the elimination of lead,based <br />paint hazards. <br /> <br /> The Redeveloper shall refrain from restricting the rental, sale <br />or lease of the Property on the basis of race, color, sex, marital <br />status, religion, ancestry or national origin of an), person.
