RESOLUTION NO. 77- 42 PAGE TWO WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has received no major comment on the Third Year Housing and Community Development Application from citizens or private or public agencies during SCAG's A-95 review period and comments received are on file with the Clerk of the Council; and WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha now wishes to approve the Third Year Housing and Community Development Application and the Second Year Performance Report, copies of which are on file in the office of the Clerk of the Council, and to authorize and direct the City Manager to take all necessary steps to file these documents with HUD. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: 1. The City Council hereby approves and adopts the Third Year Housing and Community Development Program for the period commencing July 1, 1977 and ending June 30, 1978, and the Second Year Performance Report. 2. The City Manager of the City of Santa Ana is hereby authorized and directed to take all necessary steps to file the Second Year Performance Report and the Third Year Housing and Community Development Program and Application for Federal Assis- tance with HUD in conformance with the provisions of Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974. 3. The City Manager is hereby designated as the authorized representative of the City of Santa Ana to act in connection with the aforesaid Application and Performance Report, and to provide such additional information as may be required by HUD.
