No. 58-17 Accept Grant Deed S.A.Cain et ux On motion of Councilman Markel, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and the variance of Richard Piaster and A.E. Arnold granted to permit the construction of a church, with social hall and parson- a~e, on property located on the south side of Myrtle Street west of Spruce Street, in an R-1 District, subject to conditions of the Planning Commission and the Department of Public Works. On motion of CounciLman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and the variance of Hillcrest Rentals granted to permit the erection of three rental signs, 3' x 15' in size, to replace 8m83 let signs~ on new apartmeut building (consisting of ll4 two-bedroom apartments~ located at 1352-1402-1~10 East Fruit Street, /~ubJect to the condition that the signs are to remain not to exceed a period of one y~ar. Heinly None On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and the variance of Santa Ana Community Hospital granted, to enlarge existing hospital at 519-521 Wellington Avenue, in an District, and to provide for additional off-street parking for hospital use, subject to conditions of the Department of Public Works and the Planning Commissio On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Hall and carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and the variance of Robert D. Moore, Jr., granted to construct multiple-family dwelling units on property located on the south side of Walnut Street west of Pacific Avenue, in an R-1 District, not to exceed five units on each lot, with off-street parking or garages for five cars on each lot, subject to conditions of the Plornuing Commission. It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, that escrow in- structions be approved and signed with S.A. and Jessie E. Cain, for the extension of Artesia Park, property at 1817 West Eighth Street, in the sum of $9,500.00. The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Hall and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution No. 58-16 concerning parkio~z limitations and cUrb markings in accordance therewith" establishing a loading zone on the north side of Second Street between Main and bet%~en the two driveways of McLean Motor Company, Bush Streets.~ reference request of Mrs. Pauline Hanson, 209 North ~in Street, was considered and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. A. and Jessie E. Cain, for property at 1817 West Eighth Street, for the extension of Ax-tesia Park, in the sum of $9, 500.00, was considered and passed by the following vote:
