<br />Council to take the necessary steps to advertise for bids ~-~diately, upon receipt

<br />of the approval of M~. Francis Keally, Consulting Architect. On motion of Council.

<br />and Green Cab Company from Clark and Helen Shaw, 316 Bush Street, and requesting a

<br />permit for the operation of the ten taxicabs covered by the permit. On motion of
<br />
<br />Councflm-- Hubbard, seconded by Markel and carried, the request was granted and
<br />
<br />transfer of permit approved.
<br />~n motion of Council-~- Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, Carl J. Thornton,
<br />
<br />City Manager was granted permission to leave the City February 12, 13 and 14, 1958.
<br />On motion of Counctlm-- Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the M~ger was
<br />
<br />authorized to negotiate with Neutra & Alexander, Architects, Ramherg & Lowrey, ii
<br />
<br />Associated, for a pla~nfng survey for the Civic Center, as indicated in their propos~
<br />
<br />of $6,000.00, dated Ja~,~,~y 30, 1958, with the modification that if the architects
<br />
<br />are granted any future employment in the development of Plans and specifications for
<br />
<br />buildings, they are credited with $3400.00 of this cost in such future fees.

<br />The Council having una-!,~usly waived the reading of the Pssolution, on motion of
<br />
<br />Cotulc~Im-~ Hubbard, seconded by Markel and carried, the following Resolution entitled
<br />
<br />"Resolution No. 58-46 accepting drainage facilities constructed
<br />under Edinger Street at the West Ditch in coanectionwith street
<br />improvement on Edinger Street fz~Bristol Street to Center Street,
<br />and requesting the Oran_me County Flood Control District to remunerate
<br />$6,700.00 to the City for construction of the culvert"

<br />Association, Inc., versus the City Cmmcil of the City of Santa Aha and to request
<br />
<br />the State Retirement System to conduct an actuarial survey of the costs to the City
<br />
<br />
