RESOLUTION NO. 77- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING <br />RESOLUTION NO. 74-162 TO REVISE THE TRANSITIONAL CLASSIFICATION AND <br />PAY PLAN ESTABLISHED FOR THE EMPLOYMENT OF UNEMPLOYED SANTA ANA RESIDENTS <br />UNDER THE COMPREHENSIVE EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING ACT OF 1973 (C.E.T.A.) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 18, 1974, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution No. <br />74-162 establishing transitional classes and compensation rates for the employment of <br />unemployed Santa Ana residents under the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act of <br />1973 (C.E.T.A.); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said Resolution was once amended by the City Council (Resolution 76-82) <br />to change, delete and add certain class titles and to adjust salary ranges; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to further revise the list of transitional class titles <br />set forth in said Resolution, as amended, by deleting several unused titles, provide for <br />the phasing out of certain class titles, and to add a series of new class titles together <br />with salary and wage schedules. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana: <br /> <br />1. THat the following class titles be deleted from the list of class titles con- <br /> tained in Resolution 74-162, as follows: <br /> <br />CLASS TITLES <br /> <br />CLASS TITLES <br /> <br />Animal License Inspector <br />Clerical Aide <br />Dispatcher Trainee <br /> <br />Garage Attendant <br />Landscape Design Aide <br />Personnel Analyst Assistant <br /> <br />2. THat the following footnote be added following the list of class titles: <br /> <br />"(T) designates 'Terminal Classification'. A class so designated <br />will be automatically deleted from the above list of class titles <br />when vacated by the last remaining incumbent. No new appointments <br />may be made to the class once it has been designated as 'terminal' <br />by Council action." <br /> <br />3. That the parenthetical designation "(T)" be added next to the following class <br /> titles: <br /> <br />CLASS TITLES <br /> <br />CLASS TITLES <br /> <br />Administrative Intern <br />Community Organizer <br />Community Service Advisor <br />Ecology Crew Chief <br />Ecology Crew Leader <br />Ecology Crew Worker <br />Fire Inspection Assistant I <br />Fire Inspection Assistant II <br />Inspection Assistant I <br />Inspection Assistant II <br /> <br />Junior Accountant <br />Mapping Technician <br />Museum Assistant <br />Para-Legal Aide <br />Photographer <br />Planning Aide <br />Planning Technician <br />Public Information Assistant <br />Security Guard <br /> <br />4.
