SOLU;iC <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 74-162 <br /> <br />A ~SOL~ION OF ~E CITY CO~CIL OF ~E CITY OF ~A ~A EST~LISHING <br />T~SITI~ C~SES ~ CO~ENSATION ~TES FOR <br />E~LO~D S~A ~A ~SIDE~S ~ER THE C~HENSI~ <br />T~ING ACT OF 1973 (CETA) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha has entered into an agreement with the Orange <br />County Manpower Commission to employ unemployed Santa Ama residents under the U. S. <br />Department of Labor's Comprehensive Employment Training Act (CETA); amd <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha, in assessing its unmet public service needs, <br />has identified a number of transitional-type jobs not included in its existing classi- <br />fication and pay plans; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, such transitional jobs will be of a temporary nature inasmuch as the <br />funds for such jobs are contingent upon short-term funding of the CETA Program by the <br />federal government; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT P.
