Hubbard, St-.-]ey C. Gould, Jr., <br />A.A.H~!!, J. Ogden Markel, Dale W. Heialy <br />None <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Reverend Robert Bos of the First Presbyterian Church. <br /> <br />Each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes of <br />March 3, 1958, reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and approved on <br />motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Hall and carried. <br /> <br />Improvements on <br />Delhi Roadand <br />other streets <br />(Assessment <br />District No. 197) <br /> <br />Bid acceptance <br />Paving McClay Street <br />from Delhi Road to 730 <br />feet north of Delhi <br />Road - Project No.C-25 <br /> <br />On recommendation of the M~n~ger and on motion of Counci!ma~ Gould, seconded by <br /> <br />and carried, action was continued antil the next regular meeting on award of <br /> <br />contract for the improvements on Delhi Road and other streets, in Assessment District <br /> <br />No. 197. <br /> <br />A tabulation of bids was presented by the M-n-ger for the paving of McClay Street <br /> <br />frc~ Delhi Road to 730 feet north of Delhi Road, Project No. C-25, as follows: <br /> <br />Griffith Company <br />Sully-Miller Contracting Co. <br /> <br />R.J.Noble Company <br />Cox Bros. Construction Co. <br />Ralph D. Mitzel <br /> <br />Total <br /> <br />6853.07 <br /> <br />6978.80 <br />7098.80 <br />6953.85 <br /> <br />$800bond <br />Certified check in the <br />of $7oo.oo <br />10~ bond <br />10~ bond <br />$7 o.oo bona <br /> <br />On rec~mwnendation of the c,~.~t tree and on motion of Counc!lm,n Hubbard, seconded by <br /> <br />Gould and carried, the bid of Griffith Company, at the unit prices, totaling $6754.15 <br /> <br />Hearing - Amendment <br />No. 247 property at <br />southwest corner of <br />Tustin Ave. and 17th <br />Street - Ordinance <br /> <br />was accepted and the other bids rejected. <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing and no protests having been received, amendment <br />No. 247 initiated by the Planning C~m.,t ssion was considered to reclassify property <br />consisting of approximately twenty acres situated at the southwest corner of Tustin <br />Avenue and 17th Street from the R-1 District to C-1-PK District. On motion of <br /> <br />Counc~!:man Hubbard, seconded by Markel and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br />"Ordi~nce amending Article IX of the Santa Ana M~nicipal Code <br /> creating changes in district boundaries, and amending Sheet <br /> No. 70 of the Districting Map to show the reclassification" <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /> <br /> <br />
