Hearing "Main and Newport N.E. Annex" This being the date set for hearing on annexation to the City of certain uninhabite( territory designated "Main and Newport N.E. Annex" - Ordinance values. Attorney Delbert Larsh, on behalf of Mr. Horace J. Stevens, pretested the proposed annexation as it would result in a tax increase of $10.32 per acre on the 77 acres and no benefits would be derived. He stated that Mr. Stevens would with- draw his protest if the City would assure his client of a sewer line for the area. Mr. O'Neil stated they had developed their own water supply and had a septic tank which was still satisfactory amd w~re mot lmterested in City services. ~s~vor Hetnly closed the hearing. On motion of Couactlman Gould, seconded by Hall and carried, the matter was continued until April 21, 1958. This being the date set for hearing on annexation to the City of certain uninhabite( territory designated "McFadden and Lyon S. E. Annex", and there being no protests, on motion of Counci/man Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the follo~rlng Ordinance entitled: "Ordinance declaring the annexation of that certain territory designated 'McFadden and Lyon S. E. Annex'" was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. This being the date set for heartmg on ennexation to the City of certain uninhabite~ territory designated "Delhi and Main S. W. Annex", and there being no protests, on motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Ns11 and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: "Ordinance declaring the annexation of that certain territory designated 'Delhi and Main S. W. Annex'" was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. This being the date set for hearing on annexation to the City of certain uninhabite~ territory designated "Seventeenth and Tustin S. E. Annex", and there being no pro- tests, on motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Markel and carried, the following Ordt~-nee entitled: "Ordinance declaring the annexation of that certain territory designated 'Seventeenth and Tustin S.E. Annex'" was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading.
