<br />seconded by Markel and carried, the following Resolution entitled:

<br />On motion of Cou~cflmall Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the rec~mendation
<br />of the Planning Commission was approved and the variance of Octaviano Camarillo
<br />granted to permit construction of two one-story single-family dwellings, on property
<br />situated at 2303 South Evergreen Street, in an R-1 District, subject to the conditiol
<br />that the applicant provide one two-car gare~e, instead of garage space.
<br />
<br />On motion of Councilmmn Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the recommendation
<br />of the Planning Cnn,nission was approved and the variance of George A. and Pearl A.
<br />Cruzen granted to construct one single-family unit, with two bedrooms, with a single
<br />(12' x 22' ) attached garage on front part of lot situated at 2-127 South Cypress
<br />Avenue, in an R-2 District; a single-family, twe-bedroom dwelling exists on center
<br />part of the lot, which is 71.9' x 169.96', subject to conditions of the Department
<br />of Public Works.

<br />Conmmmication was again read from the PlAnning C~m~ ssion recommending approval of
<br />variance application of Wise Service Welding to permit the erection of a ~O' x 150'
<br />craneway on property situated at 2516 Cypress Avenue, for the handling, storing and
<br />fabricating of structural steel, in a C-2-PK District. A letter was presented from
<br />Attorney John D. Cochran, on behalf of Rudy Gallegos, owner of the adjacent property
<br />to the north of property owned by George Wise, stating Mr. Gallegos has no objection
<br />to the granting of the variance. On motion of Coune~lmmn Hubbard, seconded by
<br />Gould and carried, the c.-)...unication was received and filed. The Council recon-
<br />sidered its previous action of December 2, 1957 denying the variance application
<br />of Wise Service Welding and having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution,
<br />on motion of CouncilmAn Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following
<br />Resolution entitled:
