Zlaket for the abandonment and vacation of a portion of the 14.7~ foot alley running east from Main Street to Hush Street, between Lots I and 2 of Phelps Subdivision, north of 20th Street, subject to certain conditions. It was moved by Cou~cilm~u Gould, seconded by Hall and carried, that the matter ~e con- tinued until April 7, 1958 for further consideration and the Manager instructed to contact the Attorney for the applicant, for comments, relative to the conditions. Request On motion of Councilm~ Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the communication Van S. Pomeroy (Income Centers) from Van S. and Kathryn E. Pom~roy was received and filed offering to release access rights granted Income Centers, Inc., to First and Walnut Streets over portions of Lot 55 in Tract 2752, which will not meet the requirements of the proposed con- struction of a Douglas Oil Company service station at First and Walnut Streets, and request from Income Centers to provide and grant other access rights. It was moved by Councilm-n Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, that it is the intent of the City Council to approve the cha~e in the driveways as shown on the map and recom- mended by the Department of Public Works.
