<br />
<br />Invocation was given by Reverend Garland Lacey of the Wilshire
<br />Dial-A-Prayer Presbyterian Church.
<br />
<br />Each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes
<br />of April 7, 1958, reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and approved
<br />on motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Hall and carried.

<br />Edwin H. Armstrong presented to Mayor Heinly and the Council an album of plct~res,
<br />the flag of Santa Ana,E1 Salvador, Central America and a silver plate which was
<br />
<br />inscribed by the Mayor. The gifts w~re accepted with sincere appreciation and

<br />

<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of
<br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, the following Resolution entitled~
<br />
<br /> "Resolution No. 58-102 accepting easement deed for street purpose
<br /> and grant deed for two parcels south of R~itt Street"
<br />
<br />from Faith Evangelical United Brethren Church, was considered and passed by the
<br />
<br />following vote:

<br />
<br />alleys, and all vehicular access rights on McFadden Street and Stand~rd Avenue, and
<br />
<br />bond in the amount of $45,500.00 were approved, license payment fee in the sum of

<br />Surveyor January 9, 1958, on property located on the east side of Harbor Boulevard,

<br />Communication was read from the Plannin~ Department reference Preliminary Record of
<br />Survey Map filed by Henry Jones Corporation, for Trino M. Reynoso, on property
<br />situated at the northwest corner of Evergreen Street and St. Andrew Place, recom-
<br />
<br />mending disapproval of the map due to the physical conditions evolving from this
<br />
<br />subdivision of property and the probable effect upon the valuation of the property
<br />
<br />on the "prospective" key lot. Attorney John D. Cochran requested the approvs2
<br />
<br />of the map, as presented. On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Markel and
<br />
<br />carried, action was continued until the next meeting.
