Hubbard, Stanley C. Gould, Jr., <br />A.A.Hall, J. Ogden Markel~ D~le H. Heinly <br />None <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Reverend Garland Lacey of the Wilshire <br />Dial-A-Prayer Presbyterian Church. <br /> <br />Each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes <br />of April 7, 1958, reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and approved <br />on motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Hall and carried. <br /> <br />Presentation <br />of gifts <br /> <br />Edwin H. Armstrong presented to Mayor Heinly and the Council an album of plct~res, <br />the flag of Santa Ana,E1 Salvador, Central America and a silver plate which was <br /> <br />inscribed by the Mayor. The gifts w~re accepted with sincere appreciation and <br /> <br />Record of Survey <br />Map - Faith Evangelical <br />United Brethren Church <br /> <br />thanks by Mayor Heinly. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, the Record of Survey <br /> <br />Map filed by FaDth .Evangelical United Brethren Church on property situated at the <br /> <br />northwest corner of Raitt Street and Fairview Avenue, was approved and proper <br /> <br />Reso. No. 58-102 <br />Accept easement deed <br />and grant deed - Faith <br />Evangelical United <br />Brethren Church <br /> <br />officials authorized to execute agreement in lieu of fili~ a $10,000.00 bond. <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, the following Resolution entitled~ <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 58-102 accepting easement deed for street purpose <br /> and grant deed for two parcels south of R~itt Street" <br /> <br />from Faith Evangelical United Brethren Church, was considered and passed by the <br /> <br />following vote: <br /> <br />Map of Tract No.3293 <br />Lemon Heights Invest- <br />ment Co..Z ~j <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Heinly <br />Noes, Councilmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Markel, seconded by Hall and carried, Map of Tract No. 3293 <br /> <br />filed by Lemon Heights Investment Company, for the dedication of Wisteria Place, <br /> <br />Beverly Place, Normandy Place, Harwood Place~ McFadden Street, Standard Avenue and <br /> <br />alleys, and all vehicular access rights on McFadden Street and Stand~rd Avenue, and <br /> <br />bond in the amount of $45,500.00 were approved, license payment fee in the sum of <br /> <br /> Preliminary <br /> Standard Pressed <br />, Steel Co. <br /> <br />$1800.00 accepted and agreement covering improvements was ordered signed. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, the Preliminary Map <br />having been approved on September 16, 1956 and Final Map approved by the County <br />Surveyor January 9, 1958, on property located on the east side of Harbor Boulevard, <br /> <br />i Preliminary Record of <br />Survey Map filed by <br /> Henry Jones Corp. for <br /> Trino M. Reynoso <br /> <br />2476 feet north of Talbert Avenue, of Standard Pressed Steel Company, agreement was <br />ordered signed by officials and bond in the amount of $12,000.00 approved to cover <br />the improvements on the property. <br /> <br />Communication was read from the Plannin~ Department reference Preliminary Record of <br />Survey Map filed by Henry Jones Corporation, for Trino M. Reynoso, on property <br />situated at the northwest corner of Evergreen Street and St. Andrew Place, recom- <br /> <br />mending disapproval of the map due to the physical conditions evolving from this <br /> <br />subdivision of property and the probable effect upon the valuation of the property <br /> <br />on the "prospective" key lot. Attorney John D. Cochran requested the approvs2 <br /> <br />of the map, as presented. On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Markel and <br /> <br />carried, action was continued until the next meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
