RESOLUTION NO. <br />PAGE TWO <br /> <br />78-58 <br /> <br />(e) Building Records Report <br /> <br /> Whenever a request for information regarding <br />a structure necessitates a search of documents, records or <br />plans and documentation by written report, a fee of $15.00 <br />shall be charged for this service. <br /> <br />(f) Departmental Approval for Business License. <br /> <br /> Whenever a Business License Tax Application <br />requires processing of the "Department Approvals for Business <br />License" form, a fee of ten dollars ($10.00) shall be paid <br />to the Finance Director when the application is filed and <br />deposited by him into Revenue Fund 411. <br /> <br />(g) Demolition Permit. <br /> <br /> The fee for a permit to demolish a building <br />or structure shall be fifteen dollars ($15.00). <br /> <br />(h) Refunds <br /> <br /> Upon written request from the permittee, <br />refunds of permit fees may be made to the permittee in an <br />amount equal to eighty per cent (80%) of the permit fee <br />paid; except that no permit fees shall be refunded under any <br />of the following circumstances: <br /> <br />(1) If the permit fee is ten dollars ($10.00) <br /> or less. <br />(2) After one year has elapsed from the date <br /> of the issuance of the permit. <br />(3) If any inspections have been performed <br /> by the Department of Building Safety and <br /> Housing. <br /> <br /> If a permit has been issued for a project located <br />in an area outside of the jurisdiction of the City, one <br />hundred per cent (100%) of the permit and plan check fee may <br />be refunded. If a duplicate permit has been erroneously <br />issued, one hundred percent (100%) of the duplicated permit <br />and plan checking fee may be refunded. <br /> <br /> If a plan check fee has been paid and the plan is <br />withdrawn by the applicant prior to the plan check, one <br />hundred per cent (100%) of the plan check fee may be refunded. <br />In no other case may any plan check fees be refunded. <br /> <br />2. BUILDING CODE FEES AND CHARGES <br /> <br />(a) Building Permit Fees <br /> <br /> A fee for each building permit shall be paid <br />as set forth hereinbelow. The determination of value or <br />valuation shall be made by the Director or his authorized <br />representatives. The valuation shall be the total value of <br />all construction work for which the permit is issued, as <br />well as all finish work, painting, roofing, electrical, <br />plumbing, heating, air conditioning, elevators, fire-extinguishing <br />systems and any other permanent work or permanent equipment. <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
