Paris agaiust the City and Officer Kemm~th E. Day for ~am~s to his car at <br />Edinger and Parton Streets, in the sum of $150.00, was referred to the Attorney for <br />proper processing. <br /> <br />It was moved by Counc~-~ Hubbard, seconded by Hall aud ca~-~-ied, that Mr. T. L. <br />Eank Givens, publisher of the Santa Aha Independent, be notified of the Council's <br />intention to void the contract for legal advertising for the reasons that his pub- <br />lication does not meet the legal q~,~!ifieations and requirements as a n~wspmper of <br />general circulation in the City. Councilman Gould abstained frc~ voting. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the request of L.D. <br />Leeper for thr~e 35 foot driveways at the service station to be erected on the <br />northeast corner of Bristol and Fourth Streets, was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Counc~lm-~ Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, the request of Herb <br />Hill of Car Park, Inc., for two 35 foot driveways for parking lot to be.~6cated at <br />the southwest cormer of Fifth amd Sycamore Streets, was granted. <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br />Councilman Hubbard~econded by Gould and carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. $8-197 concerning parking limitations and curb <br /> markings in &ccor~-nce therewith" <br /> <br /> establish!nE certain red zones needed to relocate parking meters on Fifth Street and <br /> on Sycamore Street., reference request of Herb Hill of Car Park, Inc., was considered <br /> and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Noes~ <br />Absent, <br /> <br />On motion of Coun~ ~ man ~ould, <br /> <br />aajoUrned. <br /> <br />Councilmen Royal E.
