Ogden ~arkel C~mm~uication wes read from the Attorney recommending that action be taken by ~esolution to declare the intent of the Council and define the parking prohibition, regulations and hours of effectiveness on Main Street between First and Ninth Streets, and that such Resolution be adopted during August to be effective on September 1st. On motion of Counci)m~n ~al], seconded by Nubbard and carried, the c ...... ~nication w~s received, filed and the Attorney instructed to prepare a Resolution to continue the parkt~i~prohibition or restrictions on Main Street as now existing until such time as four lanes of traffic on North Main Street f~-~ 8th Street to 17th Street are provided. Claim On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the claim of William Wm. H. Bruns, Jr. submittin~ estimates ~q~ H. Brun$~/for repaArs to his car damaged by the sap from trees which the City was pruning on May 27, 1958, was referred to the Attorney. On motion of COunC~lmaU Nubbard, seconded by Rall and carried, the c~mmunication frc~ Mrs. Weston Walker ca~ling attention to the unsightly north entry into the City and suggesting that the Ordinance to control outdoor advertising signs is probably inadequate and not enforced as strictly as it should be, was received and filed. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, proper officials were authorized to execute agreement with Murphy Zlaket requiring a 7 1/2 foot easement to the City prior to building over anY portion of the alley running between Main and Bush Streets at the intersection of Buffalo and North Main Street, if the same is vacated. On motion of Councilm-n Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the request of Harry Tancredi was granted for a 35 foot access, instead of a 25 foot access, as previously granted, fer use of the Richfield Oil Corporation for one of the entrances to the service station to be located on East 17th Street, south side, east of Poinsettia Street. The Co~z~cil haviD~ ~'na~tm~ust~y waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the following Resolution entitle~: "Resolution No. 58-196 authorizing execution of a deed quitclaiming ten additional feet of access rights to provide a BS-foot driveway for service station" to be located on the south side of East 17th Street, east of Poinsettia Street, to Harry J. and May A. Tancredi, was considered and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Stanley C. Gould, Jr., A.A.Eall, Dale N. Heinly Noes, Councilmen None Absent, Councilmen J. Ogden MarKel On motion of Counci~mau Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, proper officials were authorized to execute agreement dated August 4, 1958, with Sievers Constructioa Company for off-site sewer reimbursement for a period of ten years in Tract No. 2980 on King, Ninth, Tenth, Fairway Streets and Larengo Place. On motion of Gouncilmau Hubbard, seconded by GoUld and carried, the plans and specifications were approved for the widening of 17th Street from College Avenue to Bristol Street and from Baker Street to Towner Street, Projects Nos. 10~ and 109.
