<br />Company covering auditing services to be performed for the City for the fiscal year
<br />July l, 1958 to June 30, 1959, for the consideration of $2,500.00.

<br />On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by H, 11 and carried, the request of J. W.
<br />Marsh-11 and Sons for four 35 foot driveways on the northwest corner of Fifth and
<br />Bristol Streets for the new Shell Oil Company service station, w~s granted.

<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the request of
<br />Gallion Telephone Answering Service was denied, on reccemaendatlon of the curb usage
<br />comittee, for a two-hour parking zone on Eighth Street between Bush and Spurgeon
<br />Streets.

<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of

<br />On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the Attorney was

<br />instructed to advise the Council if the bid of the Register Publishing Company can
<br />
<br />be accepted or whether the City must re-advertise for bids for the publication of
<br />
<br />its legal notices if it is determined that the Santa Ana Independent is not a news-
<br />
<br />paper of general circulation as defined by the California Government Code.
