Hubbard, Stanley C. Gould, Jr., <br /> A.A.Hall, J. Ogden Markel, Dale N. Heinly <br />Noes, Councilmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br />The ~ouncil having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br /> <br />Councilmen Hubbard, seconded by Markel and carried, the following Resolution <br /> <br />entitled: <br /> <br />"Resolution No. 58-237 accepting deeds for which the City is <br />paying cash consideration" <br /> <br />from Nicholas C. Luzania and Peggy L. Macias, and Nicolas C. Heinly <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Ordinance, on motion of <br /> <br />Counci!~en Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br />"Ordinance No. NS-342 amending Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code to change the district classification of certain property and <br />to adopt Sectional District Map lO-5-10" <br /> <br />to reclassify fr~m R~i District to M-1 D~strict property situated on the south side <br /> <br />of Fifth Street, beginning at a point approximately ~O0 feet east of the east line <br /> <br />of the Santa Ana River, with a frontage of 324.56 feet on Fifth Street and a depth <br /> <br />of 706.60 feet, reference Amendment No. 256 filed by Phillip Bernstein, was con- <br /> <br />sidered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Heinly <br />Noes, CounciLmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br />On motion of Councilmen Hubbard, seconded by Markel and carried, the petition signed <br /> <br />by forty persons requesting annexation to the City of property located west of the <br /> <br />City limits and south of Westminster Avenue was received, filed and the Manager <br /> <br />instructed to secure the necessary reporlsand institute proceedings to annex the <br /> <br />property to the City. <br /> <br />On motion of Counc!lm~n Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the oral r~cluest <br /> <br />of the M~o~er was granted to negotiate procurement of State right-of-way for new <br /> <br />Fairview Avenue approximately 450 feet north of Edinger Street. <br /> <br /> <br />
