e stablishing no parking zone on the south side of Walnut Street between Flower Street and Booth Str~et due to realignment of Flower and Walnut Streets, as recom- mended by the Department of Public Works, was considered and passed by the follow- lng vote: Reso. Heinly Noes, Councilmen None Absent, Councflmen None The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Coune~lm~u Hubbard, seconded by Markel and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution No. 58-242 authorizing special channelization of traffic at the intersection of Fruit, Sixth and Mortimer Streets" establishing no parking in connection with channelization of traffic at said intersections in accordance with the plan nominated "Sixth, French and Fruit Inter- section Redesign", dated March 28, 1~58, and recommended by the Department of Public Works, was considered and passed by the following vote: Request Uptown Santa Aua Lions Club Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, St,nley C. Gould, Jr., A.A.Hall, J. Ogden Markel, Dale H. Heinly Noes, Councilmen None Absent, Councl 1 men None On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Markel and carried, the request of Uptown Santa Ana Lions Club was granted to conduct the annual light bulb selling csmpaign in a house to house solicitation between the hours of 6 P.M. and 9 P.M., Mayor of the City of~ September 22, 23, 24 and 25, 1958· On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the City Council adjourned.
