<br />11-000-911 City Council Contingency Reserve Fund to 51-~29-672 Fire Department
<br />
<br />Building and Equipment Mainte.--ee Fund.

<br />This being the date set for hearing and no protests having been received, Amendment
<br />was considered
<br />Application No. 259 filed by W.F.Or~ddy, President, ~lity Homes, ~nc._A/to reclassify
<br />
<br />from R-1 District to R-3 District property situated on the north side of Delhi Road,
<br />
<br />beginning at a point appro~fm-tely 1575 feet east of the center line of Fairview
<br />
<br />and Delhi Roads, extending east f~ said point, with a frontage of ~20 feet on
<br />
<br />Delhi Road and a depth of 1050 feet. On motion of Counc51ma- Hubbard, seconded by
<br />
<br />Hall and carried, the following Ordinance entitled:
<br />
<br />"Ordinance amen~i~Article IX oft he Santa AnaMmmicipal Code to
<br />~ba%me the district classification of certain property and to
<br />adopt Sectio-e~ District Map 2~-5-10"
<br />
<br />was introduced, comsidered and placed on ftle for second reading.

<br />This being the date set for hearing and no protests having been received, Amendment
<br />
<br />Application No. 260 filed by Joe Shcen was considered to reclassify from R-1 to
<br />
<br />C-1-P~ District, property situated on the south side of Delhi Road, beginning at a
<br />
<br />point approximately 1~O feet west of the center line of Orange Avenue and Delhi
<br />
<br />Road, extending west on Delhi Road for a distance of ~15 feet, and south 205 feet,
<br />
<br />consisting of five parcels of land. Attorney John Gilbert, representing the
<br />
<br />applicant, spoke in favor of the amendment application and stated abet Delhi Road
<br />
<br />is a wide street and is a main thoroughfare; the change to C-i-~ District classi-
<br />
<br />fication is not an ,nweasonable request and that the area will even~,,l ! y becom~
<br />
<br />c~rcial. The Council having ,mantmously waived the reading of the Resolution,
<br />
<br />on motion of Gounctlw~, Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following
<br />
<br />Resolution entitled:
