Hearing Amend. Appl. 261 Initiated by planning Commission Ordinance Hearing Proposed Master Plan of Streets and Highways Nearing "Sullivan and Fairview N;W. Annex"- Ordinance Hearing "Seventeenth and Old Tustin N. W. Annex" Ordinance reference Amendment Application No. 260 filed by Joe Shoen, was introduced, con- sidered and placed on file for second reading. tt This being the date set for hearing on Amendment Application No. 261 initiated by the Planning Commission consideration was given to reclassify fr~n M-1 to District property situated north of McFadden Street west of the S.P.R.R. and 660 feet south of Chestnut Avenue and by a line approximately 400 feet west of the P. E. R.R. as follows: P]a~ntng Coa,,ission recks, mended approval of Exhibit "A" to reclassify from M-1 District to R-3 District, property located west of the $.P. R.R. east of Tract 2437 and extending north from McFadden Street approx!metely 1111 feet, and re¢~.~.-ended denial of Exhibit '~" to reclassify frc~ M-1 District to District, property located west of the S.P.R.R. east of Tract 24B7, extending north fr~n McFadden Street to a line approximately 500 feet south of Chestnut Avenue. Communication was presented from Wilfrid ~. Charlton, Administrator of the estate of Annie C. Charlton, protesting the reclassification of the property shown on Exhibit"B" from M-1 to R-B District and favoring the reclassification of property shown on Exhibit "A" frc~ M-1 to R-~ District. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the ccannunication of ~r. Charlton and petition signe~[ by ~9 persons favoring the reclassification were received and filed. Attorney Ridley ~!th, representing Mr. Charlton, protested the reclassification of property designated as Exhibit "B". Mrs. Gloria Turtenwald, 842 McFadden Street and Bert Rys~, 902 East McFadden Street, requested that the property be zoned to R-~ District. Hearing declared closed. On motion of Councilma~ Hubbard, seconded by Nall and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: "Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Aha MAtuicipal Code to cbenge~ the district classification of certain property and to adopt Sectio~a~ District Map 18-5-9" was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. Gould, Jr., None This being the date set for hearing on the proposed Master Plan of Streets and Highways, in accordance with the provisions of Section 65462 of the State Conservation and Ple--ing Act and Section 9112.1 of the MAtuicipal Code, on motion of Counc~mau Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the hearing was continued until the next regular meeting on October 20, 1958. This being the date set for hearing on a-~exation to the City of certain uninhabited territory designated "~mllivan and Fairview N. W. Annex", and there being no pro- tests, the hearing was closed. On motion of Council=an Hubbard, seconded by Nall and carried, the following Ordd~nce entitled: "Ordl~e~.e declaring the ~exation of that certain territory designated '~,11ivan and Fairview N. W. Annex'" was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. This being the date set for hearing on annexation to the City of certain uninhabited territory designated "Seventeenth and Old Tustin Annex", and there being no pro- tests, the hearing was closed. On motion of Councilman w~11, seconded by Gould and carried, the following Orddnance entitled: "Ordinance declaring the a~xation of that certain territory designated 'seventeenth and Old Tustin N. W. Annex'" was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. , j
