RESOLUTION NO. 78- 121 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANAAMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO ADD THE NEW, <br />UNREPRESENTED MIDDLE-MANAGEMENT CLASS OF POLICE RECORDS <br />MANAGER AUTHORIZED IN THE 1978-79 ANNUAL BUDGET FOR <br />THE POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution <br />No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for all officers <br />and employees of the City of Santa Aha; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Ana <br />requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classification <br />and pay plan subject to Civil Service Rules and Regulations and the approval of the <br />City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to add a new class to the City's Classification and <br />Pay Plan, to designate such class as being unrepresented Middle-Management, and to <br />assign salary and wage schedules thereto; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this action will increase neither the number of positions nor the funds <br />already allocated in the Annual Budget for the current fiscal year: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, is hereby further <br />amended by: <br /> <br />a. Adding~ in proper alphabetical sequence, the class title of POLICE <br />RECORDS MANAGER at Salary Range No. 419, $1612-$1960. <br /> <br />b. Designating said class as Unrepresented Middle-Management <br /> <br />2.
