Council Chamber Santa Ann City Ball October 20, 1958. 7:~0 P.M. City Council met in regular session. ~eeting called to order by the Mayor. Present: Councilmen Absent: Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Stanley C. Gould, Jr. A.A.Nall, J. Ogden Markel, Dale E. Eeinly None The Pledge of Allegiance was given. Invocation was given by Reverend Robert Mays of the First Church of the Brethren. Each member of the City Council having received copies of the MAnures of the meeti~ of October 6, 1958, reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and approved on motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Ns11 amd carried. Postpone award of bid for fire alarm panel - Spec. 634-8 Bid acceptance Traffic signal controllers Spec. 64B-1 On motion of Counc~ lman Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the matte r of the a~m~rd of the bid for one Form "4" 10 circuit Type "A" fire alarm pane~,Specification No. 6~-$ was postponed until the next meeting. A tabulation of bids was presented for the furnishing of expe~sible type traffic sig~al controllers, Specification 643-1, as follows: Total ~ndley Company $ 4992.90 Econolite Corporation 6196. ~2 Electric Supplies DiStributing Co. 5595.83 $560.00 Cashiers check On motion of Counci~ Hubbard, seconded by M~rkel and carried, ~he recondition ~ of the. ccemaittee was accepted and the low bid of Nundley Company was not e~n~i~ered due" to ~&ek of the required bid bond, a~ the next low bid of Electric ~upplies Distribu- Bid acceptance Cast Iron Water Pipe Spec. 481-13 ting Ccerpany, in the total amount of $5595.83, and at the unit prices,was accepted and al I other bids rejected.
