RESOLUTION NO. 78-148 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO CHANGE THE CLASS TITLE <br />AND SALARY RANGE OF THE EXISTING CLASS OF RISK MANAGER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution No. <br />58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for all officers and <br />employees of the City of Santa Aha; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Aha <br />requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classification <br />and pay plan subject to Civil Service Rules and Regulations and the approval of the <br />City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in order to more accurately reflect the recent revisions to the duties <br />and responsibilities assigned to the single-position class of Risk Manager, it is now <br />desired to change the title and salary level assigned to the class. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana: <br /> <br /> That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, is hereby further <br />amended by changing the existing class title of Risk Manager to Workers' Compensation <br />and Insurance Analyst and changing the currently assigned salary range from No. 426 <br />($1668-$2027) to No. 405 ($1506-$1830). <br /> <br />ADOPTED, this 18th day of ___~, 1978, by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: COUNCILMEN: Ward, Garthe, <br />NOES: COUNCILMEN: Yamamoto <br />ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Brandt <br /> <br />Bricken, Ortiz, Evans <br /> I~YOR <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLE OF c0 cI f/ <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />~ITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br /> <br />
