<br />City Attorney with reference to ambulance applications was received and filed.

<br />On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, a Certificate of
<br />Public Convenience and Necessity was approved for ~illiam F. Acker, dba Acker
<br />Ambulance Service, Associated Ambulance Service, 1907 North M~in Street, for the
<br />operation of three ambulances. On motion of Counc~lm~n Gould, seconded by Hubbard
<br />and carried, action was continued until November 17, 1958 on the application of
<br />Edith M. Paine, dba American Ambulance Service, ~20 South Flower Street, Orange.
<br />
<br />On motion of Counc~lm~n Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, permission was
<br />granted La~-~' & Jack Builders, Inc., to delete the n~-e of Glide Sales, Inc., frc~
<br />their list of sub-contractors as shown on their bid for the construction of Fire
<br />Station No. 7.
