RESOLUTION NO. 79- 59 <br />PAGE TWO <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that at said general municipal <br />election, Robert Luxembourger residing in Ward 2, A1 Serrato <br />residing in Ward 4, and J. Ogden Markel residing in Ward 6, <br />were elected to offices of Member of the City Council for <br />terms of four (4) years. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that at said special election <br />Daniel Griset residing in Ward 5, was elected to the office <br />of Member of the City Council for the two (2) years <br />remaining of the unexpired term. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: <br /> <br /> 1. That at said special municipal election, the <br />following proposition was submitted to the qualified voters <br />of said City, to wit: <br /> <br />PROPOSITION A - REVENUE AND TAXATION: <br /> <br />Shall the charter be amended to revise the <br />budget adoption procedure by prohibiting <br />yearly operating and capital budget growth <br />greater than five percent (5%) and salary, <br />wages and fringe benefits greater than <br />seventy percent (70%) of said budget, without <br />a vote of the electorate? <br /> <br /> 2. That the voters of less than a majority of all of <br />the voters voting at said election upon Proposition A were <br />cast in favor of the adoption of said proposition, and said <br />proposition is hereby declared to have failed to carry at <br />said election. <br /> <br /> 3.
