No. 59-15 The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br />Calling Special <br /> <br />Municipal Election <br />"Sullivan and Edinger <br />A~lnex" <br /> <br />Pre sentation <br />of 49th Star Flag <br /> <br />Appointment <br />Clerk of the <br />Council <br /> <br />Presentation of <br />gold key to <br />Erma Hunter <br /> <br />APPROVED: ~ / <br /> <br />Mayor of the City of <br /> <br />CouncJlm~n Gould, seconded by Hall and carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br />"Resolution No. 59-15 calling a Special Municipal Election to be <br />held on the 10th day of March, 1959, to submit to the electors <br />in that certain territory~designated 'Sullivan and Edinger Annex' <br />the question of whether or not said territory should be -~exed <br />to the City of Santa Ana" <br /> <br />was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Sten~ey C. Gould, Jr., A. A. Hall, <br /> J. Ogden Markel, Dale H. Heinly <br />Noes, Councilmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard <br /> <br />Mr. George Keating, representative of Wal~r's Theatre presented the first 49th Star~ <br /> <br />Flag to the City Council. The Mayor, on behalf of the Council, accepted the Flag <br /> <br />with thanks. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hall, seconded by Markel and carried, Marion Suttner, <br />Assistant Clerk of the Council, was appointed Clerk of the Council, effective January <br /> <br />10, 1959, and Mayor Dale H. Heinly administered the oath of office to Miss ~uttner. <br /> <br />The Mayor presented a gold key to the City of Santa Aha to Erma Hunter, retiring <br /> <br />Clerk of the Council as a memento of the services she has rendered the City during <br /> <br />her thirty-five years of service. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman N~l ~, seconded by Markel and carried, the City Council <br /> <br />ad.J ourne d. <br /> <br />Clerk of lzhe Council <br /> <br /> <br />
