N~§, Councilmen None Absent, Councilmen Royal E.Hubbard On motion of CouncJlm-n Gould, seconded by Hall and carried, the City Y~n-ger was granted permission to leave the City from February 18th to February 21st, 1959, to attend the City Managers' Spring Conference, in San Mateo. On motion of Counc~lm~n Gould, seconded by Hall and carried, the Mayor was directed to write a letter of commendation to the Junior Chamber of Commerce on the success of their Santa Annual Frolic. On recommendation of the Manager and on motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Hall and carried, authorization was granted to change the total cost of Project No. 111, reconstruction of Standard Avenue from Delhi Road to McFadden Street, from $25,B41.50 to $26,835.63. On motion of Counc¶lman Gould, seconded by Hall and carried, the City Attorney was instructed to appear in Superior Court, February 27, 1959, in regard to service of papers on the City Council and the Clerk of the Council on the petition for alternative writ of mandate and order staying further proceedings, and Summons in the case of the City of Garden Grove, a Municipal Corporation, versus the City of Santa Ama, et al, Case 80700, reference scheduled March 10, 1959 election of the '"West Santa On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Hall and carried, the City Council adjourned.
