Hubbard, Stanley C. Gould, Jr., <br />A.A.Hall, J. Ogden Markel, Dale H. Heinly <br />None <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Reverend J. M. Vander Meulen of the First <br />Presbyterian Church. <br /> <br />Each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes of <br />February 16, 1959, reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and approved <br />on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried. <br /> <br />Bid acceptance <br />2260 ~?cet 12 inch <br />concrete cylinder <br />water pipe <br /> <br />A tabulation of bids was presented for the furnishing of 2360 feet of 12 inch <br /> <br />concrete cylinder water pipe line for Beverly Place and Halladay Street, Specification <br /> <br />No. 481-14, as follows: <br /> <br />Southern Pipe & Casing Co. <br />U.S. Industries, Inc. <br />United Concrete Pipe Corp. <br />American Pipe and Construction Co. <br /> <br /> Total Bond <br /> <br />8o8.8o <br />Z3,~70.00 lO~ <br />11,800.00 10~ <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the bid of Southern <br /> <br />Pipe & Casing Co., Division U.S. Industries, Inc., at the total amount of $10,808.80 <br /> <br />was accepted and the other bids rejected. <br /> <br /> <br />
